Since the Flesh shares one healthbar among all of its pieces, Cleaves are more effective against it. The Heart heals whichever part is located in rank 1. All parts except the Heart have high PROT and will inflict different status effects. It is possible to have multiple copies of the same part. At the start of every turn, it will morph, randomly transforming parts. The Flesh has 4 different parts in every rank with a shared health bar. The warrens had become a landfill of snout and hoof, gristle and bone - a mountainous, twitching mass of misshapen flesh, fusing itself together in the darkness. The spasmodically squirming, braying, and snorting half-corpses were heaped each upon the other, until at last I was rid of them. When excavations beneath the manor broke through into an ancient network of aqueducts and tunnels, I knew I had found a solution to the problem of disposal. I could not store such a prodigious amount of offal, nor could I rid myself of it easily, possessed as it was by unnameable things from outer spheres. Progress was halting, and the rapidly accumulating surplus of wasted flesh had become burdensome. That does not mean I don’t appreciate the criticism everyone gave me though, thanks for your inputs everyone.My zeal for blood rituals and summoning rites had begun to ebb, as each attempt invariably brought only failure and disappointment.
And well… I am biased as the creator of this skin, and thus, I don’t really want to modify it… I guess in the end, it kind of is my call to decide to resprite it or not. It kind of makes sense that “it’s nearly impossible to tell what it is is because its shape is inconsistent from each angle.” and is “just kind of disgusting-looking.” It is intended to be just that in the first place. Like, the core feature of the skin is that this “rainbow blob” of flesh is incoherent. On the other way, making the Inchoate Flesh “stable” in its design and movement kind of goes against what I intended to create in the first place, to quote Darkest Dungeon : "The thing is more terrible than I can describe - an incoherent jumble of organ, sinew and bone." In a way, I understand and appreciate Xaklor’s advice to try to stick to a single form (my pick would actually be bone scorpion because c’mon bone scorpion) and remake the sprites united under this form.
